WATCH: Former Barcelona striker scores unbelieavable goal against Atlético Madrid

La Liga leaders Atlético Madrid marched on with an emphatic 7-1 victory over Granada on Saturday, with a hat-trick for Yannick Carrasco and a marvelous performance from Diego Simeone's side, who look unbelievably strong this season.

But this post has not been written to praise Atlético. Instead, it's been done to show you the best goal of the match, and it doesn't belong to any Atleti player. It belongs to Isaac Cuenca, former Barcelona striker, who scored the opening goal of the match with one of the best strikes you are going to see ALL SEASON:

Incredible goal. Cuenca's career didn't work at Barça, as the Spaniard was promoted to the first team in Pep Guardiola's final season at the club and struggled to earn any real minutes. He then suffered a serious knee injury, and after an unsuccessful loan spell at Ajax, he was sold from Barça to Deportivo La Coru’ña.

Now at Granada, playing alongside Barça loanee Sergi Samper, Cuenca hopes to finally get his career going. That goal is going to help his confidence, that's for sure.
