Lionel Messi has done it again. His third goal of the day notches his hat trick against Manchester City in the Champions League. It’s his second hat trick in the Champions League this season and his seventh overall.
While it was Messi who finished off the play, it was all Luis Suarez who made it happen with his unselfish play in front of goal.
Suarez could’ve easily tried to score that himself, but being the team player that he is, he recognized that Messi was in the best position to score and gave it up for the betterment of the team.
Poor Manchester City just have no answer for the reigning Ballon d’Or winner as they’ve done everything they can to try and stop him, but it’s just not happening. Barcelona are just pure class today and City have no chance of catching up after Messi’ hat trick.
