Barcelona vs Granada, 2016 La Liga: Projected Lineup

Who starts for Barça this weekend?

Barcelona start a very big week of football on Saturday with a La Liga match against Granada at Camp Nou, looking to win a third straight league match. Over the next eight days, Barça face Granada, Manchester City away from home and Sevilla at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, and the Catalan giants need good results in all three matches to go into the international break in a good position, both in Spain and in Europe.

Luis Enrique rested all of his biggest stars in the Catalan Super Cup against Espanyol, and Lucho probably plans to use all of them in the next three matches. With eight players currently injured, he has very little choice when it comes to who plays right now, even against last-place Granada.

Marc-André ter Stegen is back in goal, and with Sergi Roberto, Javier Mascherano, Big Sammy Umtiti and Lucas Digne the only healthy defenders in the squad, the back five is set. Sergio Busquets and Ivan Rakitic will play forever, and that happens again on Saturday. To complete the midfield, two options: Denis Suárez or André Gomes, with Rafinha Alcântara and Arda Turan unlikely to play because of injury. Gomes is having a very good season, and despite a poor performance against Valencia, he could use a game against Granada to rebound.

Up front, the 'MSN' would start even if they had played against Espanyol, and since they got a three-day vacation to rest and go to Disneyland (seriously), they'll be more than fresh to face Granada, City and Sevilla without any trouble.

So this is the probable formation to face Granada on Saturday:

The Barça Blaugranes community voted in their favorite lineup, and you want the same team as above. You actually voted for Arda Turan over André Gomes, but since Arda isn't likely to play, Gomes was the next highest vote after Busquets and Rakitic.
