It wasn't good, but there was some good.

Yes, the Celta Vigo loss is back in your lives, Barça Blaugranes community. And I'm sorry.

I know you want to move on from it as soon as possible, but I didn't want to write a player ratings story as soon as the game ended, because I was too upset and emotional and just couldn't think straight. I had time to re-watch everything that happened with less anger and a clear mind, so the player ratings are out today. Here we go.

Marc-André ter Stegen (4) - He only made one mistake all game long, but his mistake was gigantically important to the outcome of the match.

Sergi Roberto (5) - Meh.

Gerard Piqué (7.5) - Incredible, our best player by a mile. Not enough for Man of the Match because he was on the losing side and Iago Aspas was sensational for Celta, but Geri is the best player in the Barça squad right now.

Jérémy Mathieu (4.5) - Own goal aside, he was poor and too desperate to play on a defense that plays out from the back. His speed is gone, his positioning is laughable and he just isn't good enough to play for Barcelona anymore. That simple.

Jordi Alba (5) - Last Season Alba is back, and that is not a good thing. Lucas Digne should be playing every game.

Sergio Busquets (3.5) - A complete disaster was the icing on the cake of Busi's bad season so far. I love him to death, but he can't be defended right now.

André Gomes (6.5) - One of the (very few) bright spots on the Barça side, especially in the second half. Played even as a center-back in the final minutes, and he continues to adapt well to his defensive midfield role.

Rafinha Alcântara (5) - Not bad, not good, not horrible, not special.

Arda Turan (5.5) - Played well in the first half, even after the collapse and the three goals. Disappeared in the second half, but overall was okay.

Neymar (5) - I made a gigantic mistake giving him a 7 against Gladbach, since he was a lot better in this one but was still not good enough.

Luis Suárez (4.5) - Just ran a lot, all game long. Not what you expect from the world's best striker.

Andrés Iniesta (7) - Clearly should have started. Unbelievable performance in the second half, literally made two goals and gave the team a chance to come back.

Denis Suarez (6.5) - Fantastic solo effort to create the third goal, and he is clearly deserving of many more minutes.

Paco Alcácer (n/a) - Didn't play enough to deserve a grade

Luis Enrique (5.5) - The loss isn't his fault, but he should have started Iniesta. His substitutions worked, but they should have been his starting lineup choices.

The Team (6) - Played very well before and after the first half collapse, but that collapse was just too bad and unacceptable. The second half is a blueprint of how to play good football.

That's the ratings. Agree? Disagree? Comment away!
