FC Barcelona 0-0 Málaga CF: Deadlocked - FC Barcelona
Barça may have been in complete control from start to finish against Málaga on Saturday afternoon, but they failed to turn any of that supremacy into goals and are left to dwell on what might have been. The scoreboard remained unmoved, with the Andalusians’ defensive intensity and some outstanding goalkeeping from Carlos Kameni denying the Catalans the chance to temporarily move to the top of the Liga table.

FC Barcelona's draw with Málaga, by the numbers - FC Barcelona
It had been almost two years since FC Barcelona failed to score at the Camp Nou in a LaLiga fixture. The last time this happened was the 21 February 2015, also against Málaga, in this case in a defeat by the finest of margins (1-0). From that day until yesterday's 0-0 draw with the Andalucian team 637 days and 48 games have passed and we have been able to celebrate at least one Barça goal at the Camp Nou.

On Wednesday 23 Barça face Celtic and on Sunday 27 the team travel to San Sebastian to play Eusebio Sacristán's Real Sociedad. Both games are at 8.45pm (all times CET) and the team will train at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. Thursday is the only day off for the team this week.

Away games in the Champions League, LaLiga and Copa del Rey - FC Barcelona
FC Barcelona are in the middle of a marathon of games in the lead up to Christmas. The Catalans will play three away games in a row in three different competitions in only eight days following the nil-nil draw against Málaga at the Camp Nou.
