In the weekend clash against Real Sociedad, Jordi Alba had gone down for a moment and appeared to be in some serious pain, but refused a substitution, eventually finishing the horrid tie at Anoeta, playing the full 90 minutes.
His insistence to play on Sunday however, may have hampered his chances of starting against Real Madrid in El Clasico on the 3rd of December.
Having just returned from a hamstring injury, it seems like Barcelona will be without their best fullback once more which does not bode well for the Catalan side.
As they gear up for the Clasico, it might be in the best interest of the club to not rush the speedster and preserve him for the league.
In better news though, the club has announced Turan's fitness, which gives Luis Enrique some much needed boost as he hopes to turn Barça's fortune around with El Clasico.
