Barcelona have taken the lead over Real Madrid in the first El Clasico of the season. Just seven minutes into the second half, Luis Suarez got his head on a cross and beat Keylor Navas to open the scoring.
Neymar’s inswinging driven free kick found Suarez who found space in the six-yard box. His powerful downward header left Navas with no chance and Barca lead 1-0.
It’s been an even match so far with very little in the way of scoring chances. Thankfully, Barca are the first to take advantage of their best one. Can they hold on for 35 more minutes?
