Despite all the rumors, Barcelona have already decided one of their signings for next season.

According to Diario Sport, the Blaugrana are set to sign midfielder Denis Suárez, currently of Villarreal, in the upcoming transfer window. The Catalans will exercise their buy-back clause of only €3 million, and the player will join the club on a five-year contract.

Suárez, who started his career at Celta Vigo in Manchester City, was bought by the Blaugranes to play at Barça B in 2013, and was loaned to Sevilla one year later. The Rojiblancos then sold Denis to Villarreal, and Barça kept a clause in the new contract which gave them the right to buy the player back for a maximum of two seasons.

Barça coach Luis Enrique has followed Suárez closely, and has recommended his signing after watching the youngster blossom into a top player in La Liga with the Yellow Submarine. Denis has made 33 appearances this season in all competitions, scoring four goals and becoming a vital part of Marcelino García Toral's side.

Suárez will join Sergi Roberto, Rafinha Alcântara and Arda Turan as the main backups to the Barça midfield. Like the other three, Denis has the versatility to play in other positions and knows the Barça style of play having spent an entire season under the club's system.

So the first signing for the new season is set: Denis Suárez is coming home.
