The next Barcelona match is upon us! The Blaugrana have a key road match against Rayo Vallecano on Thursday, and coach Luis Enrique has named the squad for the La Liga fixture.
It is the usual selection from the boss, although rotations in the starting lineup are expected. Starting full-back Dani Alves is out suspended for yellow card accumulation. Rafinha Alcântara is still recovering from injury, and while his return is near, he's still not ready for this game. Marc Bartra, Douglas Pereira, Sandro Ramírez and Jordi Masip also miss the game, per coach's decision.
Sergio Busquets and Sergi Roberto, doubtful with knocks, did recover in time and will make the trip. These are the eighteen men called up by Lucho for the game:
Goalkeepers: 1. Marc André ter Stegen, 13. Claudio Bravo
Defenders: 3. Gerard Piqué, 14. Javier Mascherano, 18. Jordi Alba, 21. Adriano Correia, 22. Aleix Vidal, 23. Thomas Vermaelen, 24. Jérémy Mathieu
Midfielders: 4. Ivan Rakitic, 5. Sergio Busquets, 7. Arda Turan, 8. Andrés Iniesta, 20. Sergi Roberto
Forwards: 9. Luis Suárez, 10. Lionel Messi, 11. Neymar Jr., 17. Munir El-Haddadi
Projected Starting Lineup (4-3-3):
Bravo; Vidal, Piqué, Mathieu, Alba; Mascherano, Rakitic, Iniesta; Messi, Suárez, Neymar
