Andrés Iniesta says Barcelona "have made almost all mistakes" following Real Sociedad loss

After a second consecutive La Liga loss, Barcelona cannot afford to screw up if they want to win the title, says the captain.

Andrés Iniesta spoke to the press immediately after the 1-0 defeat against Real Sociedad at the Anoeta Stadium on Saturday, which made the lead over Atlético Madrid shrink to only three points with six games left in the league season. The Blaugranes once held a 10-point advantage not too long ago, but three straight matches without a win later and the league is wide open.

According to the skipper, Barça is done making mistakes. It's time to focus, win again and get the trophy. But there is no need to get desperate, this is football.

"In the first half we couldn't create as much as we did in the second. Having to come back is always harder. We had opportunities and we couldn't score.

"The league is tighter now but we have to keep going, the most consistent team will win in the end. We have opened a huge gap so we could make some mistakes. But now we have made almost all mistakes and we need to stop.

"We had an important advantage, and now it is smaller. But we're still aiming for the same thing. We are still leaders and we have to think ahead, this game is in the past. It is difficult to explain losses.

"This loss will not affect our Champions League game. These are different competitions, and we have time to recover and forget about until Wednesday. In the league we are still on top and we depend on ourselves. There is no need for drama. We need to analyze the situation and get better."
