Here's what Barcelona must do to qualify for Champions League semifinals

With Barcelona beating Atlético Madrid 2-1 at Camp Nou last week in a tense, exciting match, it is safe to say the Blaugranes are (slight) favorites to advance to the Champions League semifinals.

But as we have learned time and time again, football is insane, and everything can happen. Here is a look at all the available scenarios for both teams trying to reach the European Cup's Final Four:

1. Atlético win. This is the result that gives this game different outcomes contingent on goal difference. In case of a 1-0 victory, the Colchoneros advance thanks to the vital away goal scored at Camp Nou. Starting with 2-0, all two-score (or better) results favor Atleti, with away goals having zero effect on the aggregate result.

If the game ends 2-1 for the Madrid side, we'll go to a 30-minute extra-time with possible penalties if the score holds. Any other one-goal score at the end of 90 minutes (3-2, 4-3, 5-4) will give Barça a spot in the semis thanks to multiple away goals.

2. Draw. Regardless of the number of goals, Barça will go through with a tied game.

3. Barça win. This is easy. With two wins in two games, the Blaugranes also advance to the last four.

Which of these scenarios would you like to see play out at Calderón, Barça fans? Easy win with no suffering, a little nail-biting draw or a heart-stopping 3-2 loss? Remember, Barça advances with all three.
