Atletico Madrid captain Gabi is slowly starting to dream about the Liga title as they prepare to take on Granada on Sunday. Diego Simeone's men have moved to within three points of leaders Barcelona following the Catalans' poor run of form in recent weeks - Luis Enrique's men failing to win their last three league matches.

Zinedine Zidane says he's completely focused on the league game with Getafe on Saturday after Real Madrid drew Manchester City in the Champions League semi-final. The French coach admitted his side will be favourites to progress to the Milan final, but was wary of writing the Premier League side off.

Liverpool are favourites for their Europa League semi-final clash with Villarreal, but the La Liga side do not come without dangers, says Guillem Balague. Jurgen Klopp's side are on a high after their dramatic 5-4 aggregate win over Borussia Dortmund in the last eight on Thursday, and must now travel to El Madrigal for the first leg on April 28.

As the top teams in La Liga head towards the final stretch of the season, Real Madrid have the advantage of having played fewer minutes on the pitch than their direct rivals. With six games, 18 points and 540 minutes left to play, there is a wide gulf between the 'wear and tear' of players in the three clubs left in the title race. Real are better off as only four players have spent more than 3,000 minutes on the pitch in all competitions this season, compared to nine at Atletico Madrid and 11 at Barcelona.

Manuel Pellegrini has said Manchester City have no fear of facing Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-finals after being paired with the 10-times winners in Friday’s draw. City have played Real twice before in European competition, meeting them at the group stage in the 2012-13 season. City lost 3-2 in Madrid and drew the return 1-1. Pellegrini is relaxed about facing a side led by the in-form Cristiano Ronaldo, and believes City should not be scared.

Hernan Perez gave Espanyol an early lead scoring in he 7th minute, but Levante came back to equalise in the 23rd minute courtesy of Giuseppe Rossi. After something of a stalemate, Carl Medjani struck for Levante in the 66th minute to take the lead, from which Espanyol could not come back.
