Barcelona will be looking to end their four-game winless streak in La Liga in a pivotal match against Deportivo La Coruña on the road this Wednesday. After a good performance but a painful loss at Camp Nou against Valencia, Luis Enrique's men have no more mistakes to make, and need to return to the winning ways right now.
But Enrique has some bad news: Gerard Piqué was booked with a fifth yellow card on the weekend and will miss the trip due to an automatic suspension. Without their star defender, the Blaugrana have only two available center-backs: Javier Mascherano and Marc Bartra. The Spaniard became the forgotten man this season, but there is no one else healthy to partner Mascherano since Thomas Vermaelen is still injured and won't be cleared to face Deportivo.
If the defense will be short in options, the midfield is once again deep thanks to return of two players: Arda Turan did not play against Valencia because of suspension, but he is once again available. And after missing two matches with an injury, Rafinha Alcântara will be medically cleared and can also travel to Riazor.
Neymar's status is still up in the air as the Brazilian is facing a suspension, but without any confirmations yet, the Brazilian forward is likely to face Depor and try to find his best football again to contribute in what has become a must-win game for the Catalan giants.
