Marc-André ter Stegen denies Manchester City transfer: "I haven't signed"

Marc-André ter Stegen is heavily rumored to be leaving Barcelona. But that is not a done deal yet.

The goalkeeper spoke to the press after participating in the 2-1 Champions League win against Atlético Madrid on Tuesday, and he was asked about a report last week claiming the German had agreed a deal with Manchester City. But according to him, the report is not accurate.

"It’s not true I have signed for City. We’ll see what the situation is at the end of the season and talk again. We have so many games now, this is all I can say. For me the most important thing is to play well and win games."

Ter Stegen was then directly asked if he is going to stay with the Blaugrana at the end of the season. He did not have a direct answer.

"Stay at Barca? This is an amazing team. There’s no more to say. We’ll see how everything goes."

So he is not leaving, but he doesn't know if he's staying. This soap opera does not look like having a happy ending for Barça.
