Adriano is back.
The Barcelona backup full-back received the medical green light and is fully cleared to return to the pitch whenever coach Luis Enrique deems necessary. The Brazilian missed the last two matches against Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid, but is available to selection for the final stretch of the season.
Adriano was one of the three Blaugrana backup defenders injured last week, alongside Jérémy Mathieu and Aleix Vidal. The Frenchman is set for more than a month on the sidelines, while Vidal is still a week away from his return.
The Brazilian took part in Wednesday's training session without setbacks, and is expected to practice with his teammates in preparation for Saturday's difficult La Liga trip to the Anoeta stadium to face Real Sociedad. Luis Enrique is likely to rotate his squad with the second leg of the Champions League quarterfinal against Atlético Madrid in mind, and Adriano could be selected to play against La Real.
Barça's injury list now comprises defenders Mathieu and Vidal and attacker Sandro Ramírez.
