Talking about rumors surrounding football is a fun activity for many fans, maybe only second to actually watching football. In this new daily column, we'll take a look at the latest rumors floating around the rumor mill.

Key reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt. And please don't yell at us. We're just reporting.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Real Madrid defender Raphel Varane could be on his way to the Premier League, as the Daily Mirror claims Manchester United have made a £25 million offer for the Frenchman.
  • According to German media, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has secured his first signing for next season: Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka will join the Gunners on a £34 million deal and will sign a five-year contract.
  • Barcelona is watching the situation of Rennes wonderkid Ousmane Dembele, who has been heavily linked with Borussia Dortmund. If the young Frenchman decides not to sign for the Bundesliga giants, the Blaugrana are prepared to join the race.
