Talking about rumors surrounding football is a fun activity for many fans, maybe only second to actually watching football. In this new daily column, we'll take a look at the latest rumors floating around the rumor mill.

Key reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt. And please don't yell at us. We're just reporting.

Rumors for the Day:

  • According to Catalan media, Barcelona have closed a deal to make their first signing for next season, as the Blaugranes will exercise a buy-back option on Villarreal midfielder Denis Suárez.
  • Real Madrid midfielder James Rodríguez is on the news, as the Colombian midfielder is a target for Serie A champions Juventus.
  • According to German media, Mario Götze is set to leave Bayern Munich as the German playmaker is not on Carlo Ancelotti's plans. Juventus and Liverpool are the main suitors for the World Cup winner.
