Barcelona are about to put an end to the unstoppable rumors of one of the club's biggest stars potentially leaving.

According to reports from Catalan radio, the Camp Nou giants will announce a pre-deal for the contract extension of Brazilian forward Neymar until 2020. The announcement will likely happen just after the Copa del Rey Final against Sevilla this Sunday, so expect to start next week with good news even if Barça lose.

Neymar has been heavily linked with a move away from Barcelona all season, with the first rumors regarding a huge offer from Manchester United in the January transfer window. That offer actually happened, according to the player's father, but they decided to reject it immediately. Over the last few weeks, Paris Saint-Germain joined the race, and reports from Brazilian press even claimed that the French powerhouse had agreed a personal deal with the player, and were ready to pay as much as €200 million to sign Neymar.

However, at the same time as the PSG rumors gained traction, the club and the player were closing in on a new contract, which will run until 2020 and make Neymar the second-highest paid footballer on the squad, behind Lionel Messi. The parties reached an agreement last week, and with the announcement after the Spanish Cup decider, PSG or any other team will not be able to sign the player this summer. Or the next few summers for that matter.
