Talking about rumors surrounding football is a fun activity for many fans, maybe only second to actually watching football. In this new daily column, we'll take a look at the latest rumors floating around the rumor mill.

Key reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt. And please don't yell at us. We're just reporting.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Barcelona are reportedly set to join a bidding war with Manchester United for Benfica defender Victor Lindelof. The Red Devils made a £20 million offer, and the Catalans could outbid United to sign the 21-year-old.
  • Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is obsessed with signing Juventus striker Álvaro Morata, and is ready to offer as much as £50 million as a signing fee, along with a £155,000-per-week salary proposal, which would be the highest wage in the club.
  • New Chelsea manager Antonio Conte wants to sign a new striker this summer, and his shortlist has three big names: the aforementioned Morata from Juventus, Everton's Romelu Lukaku and Napoli's Gonzalo Higuaín.
  • Paris Saint-Germain have made a €40 million offer for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, who could end up as the replacement to departing superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
