Talking about rumors surrounding football is a fun activity for many fans, maybe only second to actually watching football. In this new daily column, we'll take a look at the latest rumors floating around the rumor mill.

Key reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt. And please don't yell at us. We're just reporting.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Barcelona will sign quite a few new players this summer, but at least four members of the squad will be moving away in the upcoming window: defenders Marc Bartra, Adriano and Vermaelen, and striker Sandro.
  • Now that his Bayern Munich career is officially over with good success, Pep Guardiola can fully focus on his new job, and the incoming Manchester City manager has planned six signings: a goalkeeper, two defenders, two midfielders, and a winger.
  • According to multiple reports from multiple trust-worthy sources in England, Manchester United will announce José Mourinho as the new manager, with FA Cup winner Louis Van Gaal leaving the Red Devils in the next few days.
  • Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that new Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has made a €25 million offer for talented Napoli central defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
