Talking about rumors surrounding football is a fun activity for many fans, maybe only second to actually watching football. In this new daily column, we'll take a look at the latest rumors floating around the rumor mill.

Key reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt. And please don't yell at us. We're just reporting.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Barcelona are reportedly still interested in the signing of Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerín, despite the statements from the player saying he doesn't want to leave the Gunners at the moment.
  • Mario Götze's move to Liverpool is very close to being a done deal, according to reports in England. Jürgen Klopp's first signing for the Reds will likely be announced later this week.
  • Leicester City is in the market looking for new signings this summer, and one of the biggest targets is Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who would replace Riyad Mahrez if the Algerian leaves.
  • Manchester United continue to look for new signings, and they have shortlisted two more targets: Southampton attacker Sadio Mané, and Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak.
If you have heard of any rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are only rumors and not facts, so please take them as such. Have fun!
