Barcelona will be active in the market this summer, and they are going big after their targets.
According to a report from Italian outlet Tuttosport, the Catalan giants have submitted a €90 million formal offer to Juventus for Argentine striker Paulo Dybala. Juventus have rejected the offer, but the Blaugrana are expected to continue to chase the 22-year-old.
Dybala was one of last season's revelations after joining the Bianconeri from Palermo. The Argentinean became a key starter for Massimilano Allegri's side, and his 23 goals and 9 assists in 46 appearances for Juventus certainly contributed to the Old Lady's Italian double, and put his name among the best performers in Europe.
La Joya is a huge Lionel Messi fan, and has mentioned in multiple interviews that he wants to play with the Barcelona superstar, either at the Catalan club or the Argentinean national team. Dybala will not go to the Copa América this season per Juve's decision, but he isn't a big part of Tata Martino's plans at the moment. Playing with Messi in Argentina will be difficult, making Barça the best option for Paulo's dream to come true.
If the reports are accurate, the Blaugrana are certainly trying to make that dream a reality.
