Talking about rumors surrounding football is a fun activity for many fans, maybe only second to actually watching football. In this new daily column, we'll take a look at the latest rumors floating around the rumor mill.

Key reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt. And please don't yell at us. We're just reporting.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Barcelona defender Javier Mascherano could be on his way out of Catalonia as the Argentina captain has agreed a three-year personal deal with Serie A champions Juventus.
  • Antoine Griezmann might be leaving Atlético Madrid after the Champions League Final. The French international striker has not agreed a new contract with the Colchoneros, and is listening to offers. Arsenal and Chelsea are in for one of La Liga's best goalscorers.
  • The signings of Mats Hummels and Renato Sanches are not the only transfers Bayern Munich are pursuing this summer. Reports in Germany claim the Bavarians are after a talented winger, and Schalke 04 wonderkid Leroy Sané is a big target.
  • Jürgen Klopp is a busy man; after completing the transfers of Joel Matip and Loris Karius from the Bundesliga, the German manager is close to signing FC Porto Yacine Brahimi, who would join Liverpool on a €40 million deal.
If you have heard of any rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are only rumors and not facts, so please take them as such. Have fun!
