For the 2016/17 season, FC Barcelona will be wearing a new Nike kit that that features the club’s classic broad vertical stripes alternate FC Barcelona’s traditional red and blue with lighter shades of the same hues. Thinner tonal stripes taper near the hem in a style that honours the model worn by the team in the 1991/92 season, when the club won its first ever European Cup at Wembley.

The new FC Barcelona kit incorporates Nike’s most advanced technology, AeroSwift, which uses a new, textured high-performance yarn that wicks sweat from the skin. The shirt and shorts are also constructed using a new knitting process integrating single and double stitching to enhance breathability, stretch, and fit.

Barcelona full-back Dani Alves will join Serie A winners Juventus this week on a two-year contract, Goal can reveal. The 33-year-old is expected to earn around €4 million-per-year during his stay in Turin, with the option of an additional year inserted into his contract.
