Barcelona face Espanyol this Sunday in what could be a title-clinching night for the Blaugrana. Predicting stuff in football is never a good idea, but we'll try anyway.

One thing is for certain: both teams need to win. Barça are the leaders of La Liga but cannot make any more mistakes as Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid are just behind them. The Catalan giants have the advantage of controlling their destiny: two wins in the final two games, and the title stays in the Camp Nou for a second straight season.

The defending champions could celebrate another title this weekend, however. But for that to happen, they need an Atlético loss and a Real draw, which is a difficult scenario to happen when the Colchoneros face the relegated Levante while Los Blancos will face the mediocre Valencia at Santiago Bernabéu.

But as Diego Simeone says, partido a partido What matters now is the Catalan Derby, and there is no option for Barça other than winning, regardless of the outcome when it comes to the title race. If it goes to the last game, then fine. But a win on Sunday is a must.

The optimistic in me knows how tough the game is, but believes in Barça and will predict a 3-1 victory. How about you? What's your prediction? Please use the comment section below and share your guess! Good luck!
