WATCH: Luis Suarez throws tantrum after finding out he can't play vs. Venezuela

There was a truly embarrassing moment to happen Uruguay's Copa America group match against Venezuela tonight. Barcelona's Luis Suarez has been sidelined for the entirety of the tournament so far. Uruguay ruled him out for tonight's match officially, however Suarez still sat on the bench believing he had a chance to get in.

As the minutes wound down with Uruguay down a goal, the crowd began chanting for Luisito to enter the match. The Pichichi winner even began warming up thinking he was about to come into the match. Only to then find out that he couldn't actually play. Needless to say, the miscommunication didn't sit well with Suarez who reacted like this:

You cannot fault Luis Suarez at all for reacting like this. It's simply a horrible error by the Uruguayan staff and whoever forgot to tell the player they weren't eligible to play. That's an inexcusable mistake that makes everyone look bad at their jobs.

This incident sums up Uruguay's tournament perfectly as the 1-0 loss to Venezuela means the South American giants are likely eliminated from the competition. Rest up, Luis. See you next season.
