Leo Messi saved his best Argentina goal for the record breaker

As you may have heard, Lionel Messi became Argentina's all-time leading goal scorer on Tuesday with his stunning free kick against the United States in the Copa America Centenario semifinals. It was yet another magical moment in the career of one of the best to ever play the sport.

With 55 goals scored on the international level, you get to thinking, which were his best ever? Our friends at Univision must've been thinking the same thing, because they put together a Top 5 list of Messi's best ever Argentina goals:

In their opinion, the free kick against the U.S. was his best ever international goal. While there's no debating it was a wonderful goal, I have a conspiracy theory about this. Univision is a company partial to the Mexico national team. They have a vested interest in their matches. The No. 3 goal was an insane chipped goal against Mexico. In my humble opinion, that should've been No. 1 instead. That's just a simply brilliant goal that you rarely see.

Of course, that could just be my American bias talking. But I love Leo either way. What a player and what a treat it is to get to watch him play. Even if he knocked my country out of a major international tournament... *cries uncontrollably*
