La Liga News: 5 June 2016: Leganes Secure Promotion To La Liga, Nolito Backed For Starring Role

Leganes made history when the small town football club from the south of Madrid earned promotion from the Spanish second division (Liga Adelante) to the La Liga for the first time. A 1-0 win away on Saturday over Mirandes thanks to a 48th minute Pablo Insua goal was enough to earn Leganes, based in a sleeper town just south of the capital, a ticket to the top flight following Alaves' promotion the previous weekend, reports Xinhua.
