Nike release offical footballs for the 2016/17 Premier League, La Liga and Serie A seasons | Sky Sports
The company have gone for a colourful theme for all three match balls for the upcoming season, with multi-coloured segments surrounding the respective league badges. It is a departure from the strong block colours used in each league last term, with live Premier League and La Liga games continuing on Sky Sports next season where the footballs will be in action.

Alvaro Medran has left Real Madrid to join Valencia on a four-year-deal. Medran signed a contract at Mestalla until June 2020 after failing to break into the Madrid first team. The midfielder made just five senior appearances for Madrid and spent the previous campaign on loan at Getafe.

Real Madrid's Silva denies retirement reports -
Real Madrid midfielder Lucas Silva has denied he is to retire from football after a heart problem was discovered during medical examinations ahead of a collapsed loan switch to Sporting Lisbon. Silva had been due to join Sporting on a season-long loan, but the move fell through following the discovery of abnormal heart rhythm in his tests with the Portuguese club.

Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has been named Euro 2016’s Player of the Tournament after also claiming the Golden Boot. Griezmann scored six goals – three clear of his nearest challengers, including Cristiano Ronaldo – and assisted a further two in France’s road to the final, although he was unable to add to his tally in Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to eventual champions Portugal.

Jonathas to Rubin stalls | Football Espana
Jonathas has returned to Real Sociedad after his move to Rubin Kazan stalled, and other options are being considered. AS reports the striker was training with La Real on Monday after returning from Austria, where Rubin are holding their pre-season camp under newly-appointed Coach Javi Gracia, his agent Mino Raiola unable to reach agreement with the Russians.
