Barcelona have a new full-back.

The Catalan giants have reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for the transfer of 22-year-old left-back Lucas Digne, who is set to join the Blaugrana on a five-year contract. The announcement could be made in the upcoming days. Barça will pay PSG a €17 million fee along with performance bonuses, as sources told Barça Blaugranes. Digne's salary is not disclosed.

Digne was in the France squad that finished as runner-up in Euro 2016, and is another young, promising defender from France that Barça has signed, along with Samuel Umtiti. Digne is an offensive full-back, very similar to Jordi Alba, and joins the Catalans to back up the longtime Barça starter in that position. He spent last season on a productive loan at AS Roma, and had 3 goals and 5 assists with good performances during the campaign with the Giallorossi.

What do you think of the signing, Blaugranes? Is Digne a good backup to Alba, and do you like the price?
