Atletico Madrid have signed Croatia right-back Šime Vrsaljko on a five-year deal from Italian club Sassuolo, the Champions League finalists have announced. Vrsaljko, 24, is on holiday after the Euro 2016 finals in France. He played in two of three Croatia's group games - starting the 2-1 win over Spain - but did not appear as they 1-0 to Portugal after extra-time in the last 16.
