The injuries are just piling up for Barcelona right now.

After losing goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen, midfielder Andrés Iniesta and defender Jérémy Mathieu in the last five days, the Blaugrana suffered another casualty when Javier Mascherano was forced to leave the pitch with what appears to be a muscle injury. The Argentinean asked to be replaced, but given that Luis Enrique had made all three substitutions, Barça had to finish the game with ten men.

The injury issues haven't been too serious as of right now, as Ter Stegen, Iniesta and Mathieu are all expected back by the end of August. Mascherano's case doesn't look serious either, but he's the third defender with physical problems, leaving Barça's backline with very few options as only Gerard Piqué and Samuel Umtiti are available at center-back.

Please get better soon, Jefecito. We need you back quickly. And injuries, don't happen anymore. You're not fun at all.
