It took Lionel Messi just 36 minutes into the La Liga season for him to get on the score sheet. He gave Barcelona their second lead of the opening match of the season against Real Betis with this great left footed blast from outside the penalty area:
We’ve seen Messi score these types of goals plenty of times but it never gets old. He makes them look routine but they are anything but. His pure class is a true pleasure to watch every week. It’s shaping up to be another incredible season in his illustrious career and this is a perfect start.
