WATCH: Neymar scores spectacular free-kick to put Brazil ahead in Olympic gold medal game

Brazil and Germany are currently playing the Rio 2016 football tournament final at the historic Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, and one Barcelona superstar made a deep impact in the game.

Brazil captain Neymar Jr. scored this spectacular free-kick in the 26th minute to put the Seleção ahead in their home turf:

This is an unbelievable goal. The degree of difficulty is absurd, and the way the ball bounces back from the crossbar into the net is just beautiful. Neymar's goal was the difference-maker in a thrilling first half, with the German's hitting the woodwork three times in the opening period.

But thanks to Neymar's unbelievable strike, his fourth in the Olympics, the Brazilians are just 45 minutes away from winning the gold medal for the first time in the country's history.
