Jese’s move from Real Madrid to Paris Saint-Germain could be confirmed in the next few hours after reports of an agreement for €25m. Zinedine Zidane told a news conference ahead of an International Champions Cup match against Bayern Munich on Wednesday (7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and WatchESPN) that striker Karim Benzema will not play. Benzema, 28, missed out on Real Madrid's Champions League final win against Atletico Madrid due to injury and was also left out of Didier Deschamps' France squad at Euro 2016.

Villarreal have announced the signing of Italy midfielder Roberto Soriano from Sampdoria. The versatile 25-year-old passed his medical with the Yellow Submarine on Tuesday before putting pen to paper on a five-year contract. He will be presented on Wednesday.
