After beating Scottish champions Celtic in Dublin, Barça completed a British double on Wednesday night by defeating English champs Leicester City in the Swedish capital. And they did so with a performance, especially in the first half when most of the first teamers were on the field, that shows that the Blaugrana machine has lost absolutely none of its cutting edge.

Luis Enrique Martínez was delighted with his team’s 4-2 win over Leicester City at the Friends Arena in Stockholm on Wednesday night, but insisted that more than the result “the priority objective is to get the players back to competition fitness, and things are looking very good in that respect.”

Luis Enrique insists Barcelona don’t have a problem with their goalkeepers despite Claudio Bravo and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen’s reported unhappiness. It’s been claimed that both goalkeepers want to be first choice next season and will push to leave if they’re not, but speaking after a 4-2 win over Leicester City in Sweden, Enrique denied it was an issue.

Speaking after Barca's 4-2 win over Leicester City in the International Champions Cup on Wednesday, Mascherano said: "I won't lie, there were some issues, though some of it was an exaggeration, but overall I am happy the club still is counting on me."

Lucas Digne is on active duty at FC Barcelona. The French star joined in with Thursday morning’s session at the Ciutat Esportiva having reported for duty earlier than scheduled, for he was not actually due back until Monday 8 August.
