La Liga News: 10 September 2016; Casemiro, Marcelo Out for Real Madrid, Espanyol Let Lead Slip

Real Madrid will be without Marcelo, Casemiro and James Rodriguez for Saturday’s match against Osasuna in La Liga. Zinedine Zidane confirmed at a Press conference on Friday that the trio would be rested, with AS citing ‘the FIFA virus’ as the reason for their absence.

The season has started fairly well for Zinedine Zidane and Real Madrid. The manager's squad are one of only three clubs with maximum points from the opening two rounds of fixtures and they have beaten two decent sides in Real Sociedad (3-0) and Celta Vigo (2-1), the latter in extremis in a game that this time last season would have probably seen points dropped.
