Barcelona legend Dani Alves has scored his first goal for his new club, Juventus.
Alves' first Juve strike came in the second half against Cagliari on a Wednesday night Serie A match in Turin. The play is very smart, and Miralem Pjanic's corner-kick straight into Dani's right foot is a work of art. Alves is lucky to have his shot deflected, but a goal is a goal and he celebrated it anyway.
Long distance goals from Dani Alves are not new. He scored a bunch of those at Barça, and this one against Real Madrid will never leave our memories. It's still very odd to see Alves wearing another shirt after nearly a decade of fantastic services as a Blaugrana, and he left Barça as a true legend, one of those rare players that make history in a club.
Hopefully Barça don't face Juve in the Champions League this season, because it won't be easy to root against Dani if he returns to Camp Nou as a Bianconeri.
