Which eleven players will start for Barça on Saturday's match?

Barcelona will face Sporting Gijón on Saturday in a key La Liga match three days before a trip to Germany to take on Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Champions League group stage, and Luis Enrique is expected to make some changes to the lineup.

Enrique's defense will be very different than usual, and perhaps the subject of most rotation in the side for Saturday. Lucas Digne will likely play in place of Jordi Alba, with Gerard Piqué possibly getting a day off and Mathieu partnering with Mascherano in the middle of the defense. That is very risky CB duo, but with Umtiti's injury and Piqué's recent run of games, it's the most likely.

In midfield, Busquets has recovered from the flu and will likely start again, with André Gomes coming in for Iniesta, who started the last three matches and will probably be on the bench against Gijón. Rafinha Alcântara played great football in the last league game, and will probably play on Saturday, with Rakitic getting a rest.

Up front, Neymar and Suárez will obviously start, and the biggest doubt is who will be Lionel Messi's replacement. Denis Suarez, Rafinha and even Aleix Vidal could play on the right wing, however the most likely to start is Arda Turan, who didn't play well against Atlético Madrid but is having a good season and will have the opportunity this weekend.

This is the projected eleven for Saturday:

4-3-3

Marc-André ter Stegen

Sergi Roberto - Javier Mascherano - Jérémy Mathieu - Lucas Digne

Rafinha Alcântara - Sergio Busquets - André Gomes

Arda Turan - Luis Suárez - Neymar Jr.

The Barça Blaugranes community voted on their favorite eleven, and this was a very tight vote, especially in midfield. Every midfielder got at least 40% of your votes, but Busquets (53%), Iniesta (48.6%) and Rafinha (40.7%) did not get enough to be starters. This is the community lineup for the game:

(4-4-2): Ter Stegen; Roberto, Piqué, Mascherano, Digne; Arda, Rakitic, Gomes, Denis; Suárez, Neymar
