After a tumultuous morning of decisions amidst a difficult political backdrop, changes are reportedly taking place in Barcelona leadership. Barcelona vice-president Carles Vilarrubí has reportedly resigned after the decision was made to play today’s La Liga match against Las Palmas behind closed doors.

We’ll wait to hear the official word from the club, but things are happening quickly within Barcelona. The decision that was made today doesn’t seem to have been handled with the greatest form of communication.

The latest release we have from the club themselves is a statement on the decision to play the game without fans. We have yet to hear Vilarrubí’s role in the decision and why he reportedly stepped down.
