Lionel Messi has notched his 100th career goal in a European competition with a fabulous free kick against Olympiacos in the Champions League. His textbook curling free kick was palmed into the roof of the net by the goalkeeper to make it 2-0 to Barcelona on the night. Lucas Digne has since added a third.
This is just another amazing milestone in the indescribable career of the greatest player who has ever lived. Messi continues to amaze in every competition he plays in, but there’s something a little more special when he does it in the Champions League.
