Barcelona Linked With Dele Alli and Antoine Griezmann

Tomorrow’s covers of Mundo Deportivo and Diario SPORT present two alternate theories of who Barcelona are lining up for a big summer purchase.

MD says Atletico Madrid’s Griezmann is “the number 1.”

“The Frenchman is the chosen superstar to strengthen the forward line next summer,” the cover says. “His clause will go down to 100 million on July 1, and they want to finish the agreement before the World Cup.”

Meanwhile, SPORT reads “Objective: Dele Alli”:

"Barcelona is paying attention to the 21-year-old Tottenham Hotspur midfielder as an alternative to Philippe Coutinho,” it says. “They think that he would fit in well at Camp Nou, but Spurs are offering a contract to keep him long-term."

The other day, SPORT wrote that Liverpool star Coutinho is the subject of a tug-of-war between Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain. And add Anthony Martial from Manchester United as another transfer target as well, thatrumor coming from MD.

So, does anyone know who the true #1 target is? Probably not. Are they just trying to sell papers while the international break goes on? Probably. On the other hand, sometimes these rumors start out like this and build up. We’ll see if they go anywhere...
