Barcelona could be quite active in the upcoming transfer window, if rumors are to be believed. Let’s take a look:

Arda Turan to Galatasaray

According to the Turkish daily Fanatik, Arda Turan is an option for the winter transfer window for Galatasaray on a loan basis. Turan rejected a similar deal in the summer, but perhaps the fact that Ernesto Valverde has yet to pick him, and that his national team wants him to get playing time, will convince him?

Thomas Lemar Option

Barça are still hoping to get Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool, but that might be difficult, to say the least, in the winter transfer window. Another possibility that has been reignited is that of Thomas Lemar from AS Monaco, a player Barcelona negotiated for in the summer, or so says Diario SPORT.

Other options mentioned for an attacking midfielder include Julian Brandt (Bayer Leverkusen), and two Schalke 04 players: Max Meyer and Leon Goretzka. Goretzka’s name is not new, and there is the rumor that he will opt for Barcelona ahead of Bayern Munich.

CB Search

Barça are still after another defender, particularly as Thomas Vermaelen might leave. Yerry Mina keeps getting linked to Barça but it’s unclear when he’d come. Today in Diario SPORT we are hearing the names of Johnathan Tah (Bayer Leverkusen), Dayot Upamecano (RB Leizpig), Íñigo Martínez (Real Sociedad), and Unai Núñez (Athletic Bilbao).
