With Ozil and Coutinho unlikely, will anyone arrive in January?

As January gets closer so does the reality that Barcelona are continuing to look at players that seem to have no way out of their current club. Two of the most talked about prospects are Philippe Coutinho and Mesut Ozil.

Everyone knows the strain that Barcelona went through in an attempt to get Coutinho from Liverpool over the summer. As the January window approaches, the reports from Spain and England seem to point towards more of the same come January.

When it comes to Ozil, that one seemed a bit more realistic. Until Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was asked about the likelihood that Alexis Sanchez and Ozil would be sold in January.

"As long as they are here, they give their best for the club.”

"In my head, they stay until the end of the season. Unless something unbelievable happens I don't see that changing."
