Barcelona impressed by Harry Winks

We start off today with news that Barcelona have been impressed by Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks.

Apparently Robert Fernandez took in Spurs’ 3-1 win over Real Madrid in midweek, to check on Christian Eriksen.

However, it was 21-year-old Winks who apparently caught the eye, according to the Evening Standard.

Real Madrid join Coutinho race

Meanwhile, Mundo Deportivo report, rather predictably, that Real Madrid have now decided they fancy a bit of Philippe Coutinho too.

Apparently los Blancos have contacted Liverpool to express their interest, although they are thinking about a summer move, with Barca still keen on a January deal.

Paris Saint-Germain are still interested too, but apparently Coutinho remains determined to join Barca.

Barca want Gremio midfielder Arthur

Over at Sport, the talk is of Barca interest in Gremio midfielder Arthur Hernique Ramos.

The Blaugrana feel he has “massive potential” and the vision and technique to fit perfectly into the midfield.

However, landing the 21-year-old will be tough as Gremio do not want to sell, even for big money.

Mina will not arrive in January

And finally we end today with Marca who offer the latest update in the Yerry Mina to Barcelona saga and apparently the defender will not arrive in January.

The club have already agreed a €9 million deal for a summer move but bringing the transfer forward would involve renegotiating the fee.

Robert Fernandez has therefore ruled out an earlier move, which probably means Thomas Vermaelen will have to stay until the end of the season.
