Neymar Could Join Real Madrid, But “We Have to Negotiate His Sister’s Birthday” Jokes Sergio Ramos

Rumors were floating that Neymar could leave Paris Saint-Germain and become a galáctico at Real Madrid, and Sergio Ramos decided to have a bit of fun with it.

"I like to play with the best and Neymar is one of them," Ramos told Cadena SER. "What we would have to negotiate is his sister's birthday," he continued, laughing.

Ramos was referencing the fact that Neymar has a habit of requesting time off from playing to celebrate his sister’s birthday in Brazil each year.

Despite his joking nature, Ramos seemed serious in wanting Neymar to join Los Blancos:

"It's easier to come via Paris than direct from Barcelona. I would sign him without any doubt, he is a different player that makes a difference. I already have the door open for him if he wants to come in December."
