Friday saw the draw for World Cup 2018 in Russia and there’s plenty of intriguing fixtures to look forward to.

Perhaps the biggest draw was Spain being placed into Group B along with Portugal.

That means Spain stars such as Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta, Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba and Sergi Roberto taking on team-mates Andre Gomes and Nelson Semedo.

Elsewhere, Lionel Messi’s and Javier Mascherano’s Argentina were drawn in to Group D where they will face Nigeria (again!) and also Ivan Rakitic’s Croatia.

Samuel Umtiti and Ousmane Dembele’s France side will be one of the favourites for the World Cup and they will face Australia, Peru and Denmark.

Paulinho has starred for Brazil during their qualification campaign and Tite’s men take on Switzerland, Costa Rica and Serbia.

Holders Germany will also be out to retain their trophy with Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s men set to face a tough group with Mexico, Sweden and South Korean.

Finally, Thomas Vermaelen and Belgium face an interesting draw as they take on England, Panama and Tunisia.

Here’s the draw in full:

Group A: Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Uruguay

Group B: Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Iran

Group C: France, Australia, Peru, Denmark

Group D: Argentina, Iceland, Croatia, Nigeria

Group E: Brazil, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Serbia
