Barça Want More Cash for Masch

FC Barcelona are keen on trying to find a better offer in exchange for Javier Mascherano, who wants to leave in the winter transfer window. Right now the rumor is teams are only willing to pay 5 or 6 million for the player, and journalist Fernando Polo says that the club feels that is not enough for giving up an expert defender in the winter.

Luis Alberto Return?

Luis Alberto is being followed by the Catalans as the player has performed well at Lazio, according to both GIanluca DiMarzio (Italian journalist who specializes in transfers) and Mundo Deportivo. Luis Alberto is no stranger to Catalonia, having been a part of Barcelona B in the past. The player has performed well enough taht he even has gotten call ups for the Spanish national team. Will Barcelona try to bring him back? Robert Fernández has been scouting him.

Liverpool’s Coutinho Replacement?

Thomas Lemar could replace Philippe Coutinho at Liverpool this winter, which would give the Brazilian the clear opportunity to join Barcelona, says L’Equipe. Liverpool are keen on the AS Monaco midfielder, whom Barcelona also considered in the summer. If this transfer goes through, it’s likely Coutinho will get the exit that he seemed desperate for.
