Lionel Messi has ensured it will be a Merry Christmas for Barcelona after helping his side beat Real Madrid 3-0 at the Bernabeu on Saturday.

The Argentine scored the second from the spot before setting up Aleix Vidal for Barca’s third, while only wearing one boot.

And after the match Messi took to Facebook to share his pride at the victory that means Barca are 14 points clear of Real Madrid heading into the winter break.
