Despite persistent rumors that Neymar will one day leave Paris Saint-Germain to join Real Madrid, Luis Suárez isn’t buying it.

"No, no way" is what he told MARCA in an interview when asked about the possibility. "Honestly, I don't see it. I know how Neymar is and the admiration he had for Barcelona and his teammates. I do not see him now going to play for Real Madrid."

The striker was also asked about how his former teammate’s decision to leave for Paris was received:

Ney is a mature person, and he is conscious of the choice he made. For sure he did it with a lot of pain because he was happy here. But we have to accept he had other challenges and that he wanted to take them on. There is no reproach at all, just admiration and warmth for everything he gave the club and for the relationship we had for those years.

Suárez also talked about how the team has changed since Neymar’s departure:

Neymar is a special player, and much was expected of him. Other players have come that give a lot like Gerard Deulofeu, who was brought up in the club. Also Paulinho, who has shut many people up and is perfroming at a very high level since he came. He's one of the captains of Brazil.

Ousmane Dembélé had the bad fortune to get injured at the start, but when he is fit you will see he will surprise many people. Right now, there's a lot of speculation about who will come and who will go, but we are not involved with that.
